Privacy Policy
This policy describes how OneTechieCo (“we”) handles information in the Era Basketball iOS app. It matches what the app actually does. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to run your account:
- Account identifier. When you Sign in with Apple, Apple provides a user ID that we use to keep you signed in. We store that identifier with Firebase Authentication.
- Email address. Apple may share an email address with us if you choose to share it during Sign in with Apple. We use it only to operate your account. We do not send marketing email.
- Username. You choose a username after sign-in. We store it so the app can show your handle. Usernames are not a public social graph.
- Local session. After you sign in, a session token can be stored in the device Secure Enclave. Face ID only unlocks that local token. Face data never leaves the device and is not sent to us.
- On-device app data. Simulation history, tokens, and similar records stay on the device (including SwiftData and UserDefaults) so the app can function offline.
Permissions you can grant
- Face ID. Optional. Used only to unlock your local session token.
- Microphone and speech recognition. Optional. Used only if you start on-device voice coaching in the tactical sandbox. Audio is processed on the device for that feature. We do not use it for advertising.
How we use information
We use the information above only for app functionality: creating and restoring your session, showing your username, deleting your account when you ask, and running simulations on the device. We do not use it for tracking, advertising, or analytics products.
Third parties
Sign-in and account deletion use Firebase Authentication (Google LLC), which processes the Apple user ID and, if provided, email. We do not share your information with advertisers. Community polls and debates in the app are seeded, read-only content. There is no public chat and we do not collect other users’ messages from you.
Retention
Account identifiers and usernames are kept while your account exists. Local simulation data stays on the device until you delete the account or remove the app. We do not keep a marketing list.
Account deletion
You can delete your account in the app: open the Profile tab, tap Delete Account, confirm, and complete Sign in with Apple when asked. That removes the cloud authentication user when possible and erases local account data on the device. After deletion you are returned to the sign-in screen.
You can also email info@onetechie.com and ask us to delete your account.
Children
Era Basketball is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
You can decline Face ID, microphone, and speech permission. You can sign out by deleting the account as described above. You can also delete the app, which removes local data stored on that device.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date.
